This is my last entry for Kasagkoran Tilad Literary Portfolio Vol. 1 Issue 3
of Ateneo Literary Association (ALA)

"Kasagkoran" is the Bikol term for end, since this online portfolio was published December 2012, with the "End of The World" thing looming (which kinda happens every month for the past year[irritating really] I wonder how many times Earth's gonna die, I mean, it is already dying, isn't it? [slowly and degradingly painful to see] Anyway---) so our group thought of taking it literally in a literary way.

So we have our third issue with cover artist Kuya Ken Esperanza and the rest of the organization as contributor. It was fun!

This one here is "Deception". I work with the irony and naivety of a child wearing a monster's mask. Hm, let's see, I don't know, it's just that, I've always thought that there's a greater possibility for a child to challenge the supernaturals, for them to respect the things they can't understand, because unlike adults---children always believe what they see.

That's why I always find it adorable for a child to tell their stories of sprites and monsters and claws and light. Again, I used ink and paper, and again, I also have to thank Kuya Pen for the colors. I love what he did!
